Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd. Comments on Record Backlog, New Market Entry and Facility Improvements

Little River, SC (May 12, 2010) Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd. (OTC:BB IEVM) announced today that the backlog of orders for its proprietary EcaFlo equipment was at an all-time record level as of March 31 and is now nearing the $1 million mark. Commercialization of our proprietary EcaFlo technology in the oil & gas service arena and in the food processing industry continues. We are confident that sales will continue to trend upward as we continue our growth in these markets and enter new markets, stated Bill Prince, President of Integrated Environmental Technologies, Ltd., Chairman of its Board of Directors, and CEO of IEVMs wholly-owned operating subsidiary, IET, Inc.

IET continues to develop leadership roles in key markets with globally-recognized customers. To meet the demands for IETs EcaFlo equipment, the Company is nearing the half-way point of a facility expansion and improvement process in order to quadruple the production capacities for manufacturing. Larry Jones, IETs Senior Vice President of Production, Growth and Regulatory Affairs, stated, We are anticipating the expansion to be complete by the second quarters end and to have our manufacturing capabilities geared up soon after that date. Jones added, Although weve had to make some temporary adjustments, we have been able to continue to manufacture our EcaFlo equipment and put it through our stringent quality assurance testing program. We are on target to complete the orders we have in hand during the second quarter.

As EcaFlo equipment is shipped and delivered, IETs second quarter sales are expected to rise accordingly bolstering revenues to their highest quarterly level in the Companys history. In addition, the Company has billed for its first significant technology fees associated with the sale of EcaFlo Anolyte to the oil and gas industry. It is anticipated that revenues from the use and sale of EcaFlo Anolyte into all markets will continue to increase in the second quarter and throughout the remainder of 2010.

IET has also concluded an initial sale of its EcaFlo equipment to Horry County, South Carolinas Public Safety Division for use in the production of EcaFlo Anolyte (EPA Registered Product # 82341-1) to effectively and safely disinfect hard surfaces at the Horry County Animal Care Center. IET is located in Horry County, which is the largest county east of the Mississippi River.

Horry Countys Animal Care Centers goals are to provide excellent care and humane treatment for all animals, to maintain a clean and healthy environment for both animals and people, to promote and provide healthy adoptions, to offer excellent customer service and public education, and to work with animal control to better serve Horry County. The use of IETs EcaFlo equipment to produce the green EcaFlo Anolyte for disinfection requirements at the Animal Care Center allows Horry County to reduce labor costs due to the products efficiency, as well as to ensure effective management and elimination of the microorganisms that often cause spread of diseases between animals contained in close proximity. IET assisted Horry County at its animal shelter in early 2009, by completely decontaminating the facility with EcaFlo Anolyte, demonstrating that Anolyte can effectively assist in mitigating parvo and distemper outbreaks.

Mr. Paul Whitten, Director of Horry Countys Public Safety Department, commented, We are excited about the opportunity to work with a local company that is providing a world class solution for our Animal Care Center. The ability to utilize a hospital-grade disinfectant in our facility will provide a healthier environment for the animals in our care. We believe that the citizens of Horry County want us to work efficiently and to take care of our environment, and this solution allows us to deliver on that goal. Mr. Whitten also directs the Countys emergency-911 communications services, emergency management, fire and rescue, police and information technologies services.

Bill Prince stated, Horry County is a gleaming example of how government acts on the mandates set forth by its taxpaying residents. By switching away from traditional, hazardous disinfecting chemicals, Horry County is providing a safer environment for the people and animals at its Animal Care Center, while reducing its costs significantly. Prince further stated, Horry County is committed to going green, and it is mandated to maintain the publics health. EcaFlo Anolyte gives the Animal Care Center the ability to accomplish its mandates and mission. We appreciate this countys thorough research of our product and its willingness to be our first customer in this important market. As IET continues to establish a strategic distribution network throughout the United States, as well as internationally, Horry County, South Carolina has agreed to serve as a showcase for others who are integrally involved in services provided for animals.
